Behind Himself

He entered the valley of shadows and though unto into himself
What will become of those
Who I've left behind

He fearlessly ventures
Through the dark empty time
Crawling through and digging down into every memory of each day

So clearly recalling
everything's he has left behind
Comfortably and confidently
of how pure his past was

He crawled out of his mind
leaving his thoughts
Along with the memories
And all those who stayed
he had left along with his body
