What is it we seek

My Heart Beats,
and I am alive.
So here I am,
through my own eyes.

This world so beautiful,
looking through the trees,
our children playing.
Our ways so irrational.

What is it we seek,
one day at a time.
A chance to survive,
or a blessing in disguise.

This grass is so green,
yet our populous so ingrate.
Blame and discontent,
supposing topics unseen.

Stand on your own,
feel who you are.
This world is now ours,
and yesterday is gone.

We must stand on our own,
collectively, now and forever.
Hands grasping together,
our hearts giving more.
