Ok the big debate is minimum wage. I believe it is 8 bucks an hours, I could be wrong, and if I am forgive me. And now people want to raise it to 15 dollars an hour. My question to the powers that be, that want to see this raised, is how will you keep your costs affordable? Because if you raise wages, then you will have to raise your cost of your items so you can still make a buck, or two or three or fifty. So looking at McDonald's, their hamburgers is roughly $1.00, so, the profit on that is probably fifty cents. So the hamburger will have to go up to $1.50 to be able to pay your workers, and keep on making your profit. Now here is an idea..... Pay the workers as the waiters and waitresses get paid in your neighborhood restaurants. And allow customers to tip the workers if they are satisfied with their service. I guarantee that people will step up and do their jobs better. How difficult is it to make a cheeseburger meal without cheese?? People either are too lazy to read or do not know how to read. I realize that I may be stereo typing people here, and that is not what I mean to do, I am just trying to point out a few things that I have come across in my adventures. When someone asks for light ice in their drink, that does not mean fill it up more than you normally would, or if a person asks for no cheese on a sandwich, how hard is it to not put it on the sandwich? I get that people need to be able to live, I really do understand that. But in my opinion, and it is my opinion only, is that do your job and do it well, so when this crap comes up, people aren't going to moan and groan about the cost of items going up, when the items are always wrong. Just my two cents, sorry if I insulted anyone, or offended anyone, just again my opinion. |
