I Want a Day

I want a day where I can stop
And look and see a me.
A me that I can
Stop and smile at
Someone I want to be.
A day where i can stop and stare
And be beautiful inside.
Where I can be around others
And not be wishing to hide.
A day where others I don't feel
That I need to please
Or where i would stop walking around
Hating being me.
A day where i could feel love
And never feel alone
Where i am safe to speak to others
And not be on my own.
I want a day where I can stop
Wishing that light's door
Would close and lock behind me
Making me no more.
