A very short rhymed story for kids about a huge rabbit that appears in someone's dreams. |
The Rabbit in my Dream Once in a while I have this dream Oh, so wild, A huge rabit comes by My house and starts to whine About him not being too wise. That's why He was seeking for my Advice Wanting to clarify If he should eat Cabbage, carrots or wheat. I told him he shouldn't quit The habits that obviously meet, The life style long ago he had built. Cabbage, carrots or wheat, To eat or not to eat Does he really think This question will change anything? 'The huge rabbit got mad. "I came for an answer" he said "Do I need to add The many questions I had?" Never, no answer they had. That's why I felt bound Hoping that you might be the one To save me of this awful doubt Wether I should eat all the three Or only one." "I can tell you I could see His suffering and it was obvious, to me That of this nightmare to get rid To give him an answer I need/ So, looking deep into his eyes I gather all my courage and say: My little piece of advice is to Eat whatever you like. Eat wheat, if you like it, Cabbage and carrots, if you need. That's really what I think" With a big happy smile, The huge rabbit said good bye And never again he came by. |
