NEVER FORGET ME
Sisters or misters we have no care
but to look beautiful with every stare
This not a poem
This is a story that I tell of long forgotten feelings
I was touching a friend of a different breed
one with more petals than me
In a field we were both raised
Simply through those harsh summer days
Both of us blowing in the wind
for I have not seen such beauty since
My right much more elegant than I
I knew I would soon have to say goodbye
There came a little girl the age of five
She was the separator of my friend and I
This little girl the age of five
would soon mark the end
She scrambled on her tiny toes
To get to us, the two that flowed
She went right past me
and to my friend the brightest in the field
She kneeled and plucked it right out of the ground
Oh, what a glorious sound
All we ever wanted was to sit in vases
and stare at all their strange faces
For on that day I lost my friend
To it all my wishes i send
For their life is perfect and filled with glee
All i want it to do is never forget me
