I will always reach out for you and cry because you are not there...

I will always seek your face and pray for your grace

Long for your companionship in this lonely dark place

I will always remember your smile and each line on your face


I will always want you around even though you are not there...

I will always miss your song and miss your love

Sing to me now from the great above

Fill my soul like a holy dove

All these years and I still can't accept that you are not there...

Why did you have to leave me alone

Knowing my fear of things unknown

So much in life I need to be shown

I will love you forever with all my heart...

I just feel like this poem uneven

And incomplete

Because you are are not there...
