I wrote this just after a very dear friend died. |
I wrote this as a poem initially after a friend died. This friendship had lasted over forty years and the person had been a great influence in my life. I then 'heard' a melody and worked with a talented musician/producer to tweak the words to fit the melody which he arranged and is playing and a good friend sang and recorded the song. It can be listened to free at http://fandalism.com/annticipation/dqcG Moving on I’m moving on I’m moving on to the light Moving on I’m moving on I’m moving on to the light A path that never ends but twists and bends and winds and turns so much to learn about the ways and mysteries of who we are and what we’ll be Moving on I’m moving on I’m moving on to the light Moving on I’m moving on I’m moving on to the light A road with holes and cracks and countless tracks on different lines for there’s no sign no map or guide or marks to show the traveller which way to go Moving on I’m moving on I’m moving on to the light Moving on I’m moving on I’m moving on to the light Time that ceaseless flow where does it go? where are we bound? what shall be found? uncertain goals just out of sight compel all souls towards the light Moving on I’m moving on I’m moving on to the light Moving on I’m moving on I’m moving on to the light |
