You waiting for me every day,
Listening,
For my steps, by the door you stayed.
Quivering,
With excitement when you saw me,
Drooling,
Because your heart was filled with glee.

Wishing,
You were there waiting for me now,
Yearning,
To pat your head and touch your brow.
Longing,
For the sound of your bark, your whine,
Missing,
You but grateful for our short time.
