Introduction to my self-stimulating career path
Some people are just really good at making promises and indignantly unfulfilling them. However, it is understandable why many people trust them. They are friendly, charming and can win anyone's heart by merely showing a little compassion. They can be trusted, too. Yes, can be trusted. Sadly, you were duped.

Imagine someone who is so close to you at one point that you 'almost' believed every single word that that person uttered but then eventually screwed up. Apparently, had no plans of fulfilling a promise. Was it your fault? Were you so feeble-minded holding on to an abstract farce that was executed so well?Man, that is deeply excruciating and I'd rather not be in your shoes.
BTW, did you ever realize that the story was twisted and you were the villain, not the victim?

Soliloquy.
