Just something I felt like writing. |
I stood in the darkness, my head barely visible in the small lamp light. I hid my features the best I could as I reached out my knife and threatened my victim. There he sat in the chair, his delicious fear evident in every tremble of his body. My mouth twitched into a smile as I watched him squirm and fight for his life. He wouldn't make it out. He never would. However, watching them try was the most entertaining part. But alas, I grew tired and drew my knife from my belt. I stalked over, his breathes becoming shorter with my every step. At the end, I stopped. I stared. I set suspense in the air. Would he live or would he die? With one swift movement, I leaned down and slashed my knife at his wrist, separating his hand from his arm. At once, the air erupted with a painful screech that was like music to my ears. Blood that smelled like juice spilled from the wound and onto the floor. I got to my knees, bent down and licked. My smile grew wider. I stood, unbuckled him and stood back. Towards the door, I gestured. "Escape" I whispered as the lamp light flickered, creating a sinister air. At first, he shook, his eyes darting from me to the door. "Is this a trick?" his eyes seemed to ask but was met with no reply. After a few moments passed, up he stood and darted to the door. As planned, his hand reached the handle and electricity shot through him. His body shook with the power of the thousand bolts as smoke sizzled off his cooked skin. A burnt hand let go and down he fell to the ground. I smiled and a deep throaty laugh erupted from within. What a funny sight. He lay on the floor, gasping for breathes, holding on to life. I walked over, a few strides left behind. I bent down, gazing into his pain filled eyes. And I laughed. I laughed louder than ever before. I ran my fingers over his flesh and brought it up to my lips. I licked. Cooked. Without a moment to spare, I leaned down and tore my teeth into his flesh. He screamed, raspy and barely audible. I continued my feast. I smiled as I felt his body go limp. I smiled as I watched the life leave his eyes. I smiled as I continued to eat what once was my best friend. |
