Dear Father

Dear Father, I lost you so long ago.
A child with merely a soul.
But my eyes have seen you through
The dark and the light.
I felt your presence. I felt your love.

Dear Father, it is with your spirit that
I am to mankind a quiet soul.
Passion to serve you with complete
Devotion and love.

Dear Father, you never judge.
You make me strong.
You make me whole.

Dear Father, you are the presence in my mind that makes me who I am.
You Will guide me through the good and the evil.
The Just and forbidden.

Dear Father, through your spirit you will teach
Me to rise above the ordinary. To serve and protect
All that is good.

Dear Father, you open your arms and welcome those
To your home. You protect and shield the children. You reform
The evil; because all is welcome to the heavenly
Estate overlooking the world.

I am the Angel, the child you made to be born.
It is with your spirt and goodness I will grow.
Only to join you some day and meet the
Dear Father I know. The one I lost so long ago.
