Magic Lamp

Rub the genie's lamp and all your dreams will come true,
anything you could ever ask or hope for,
but they failed to mention that there is no lamp.

There is no genie that surfaces from the inside and grants your wish,
there is no simple fix to the issues and pain that you feel and deal with.
There are no dreams come true.

You always hear about someone that will swoop in and save you,
but the people who say that never actually try to help you themselves.
So they leave you hanging and hoping for something that will never get there.

When you don't have a genie,
you have to become your own hero.
Because not everyone can find a magic lamp.
