Poetry Descriptions Are Pointless
I don't cry
Not anymore
I lie awake in agony
The feelings filling all of me
Suffocating, drowning me
Release never comes
My heart pounding hard and fast
Lungs tight, full of lead
An endless stream of failures
Play a constant reel in my head
I can't release
I can't let go
Can't let my worries fall from
My eyes
Instead, deep internally they go
Turning me into ice.
