Said the big pachyderm to the tiny flu germ.
"You know, you really get up my nose."
But it's lonely for those, who are locked here in zoos.
So we must remain friends, I suppose.
Then as winter drew near, there was frost in the air.
And a most disagreeable breeze.
While eating snow covered hay, one extremely cold day.
The pachyderm inadvertently sneezed.
Large chunks of this, and huge splatters of that,
caught a lion right square in the eyes.
The cats frantic clawing, and furious gnawing
caused the flu germs untimely demise.
That's why, if you go, to that quaint little zoo,
you'll find there is no elephant there.
For the big pachyderm, truly loved the flu germ,
He died broken hearted.... poor dear.
