Always have been, will be.
Desperate need to be uncorralled.

Never worked well with fences, boundaries.
Unbridled passions.
Forever straining at reins.

Mind whizzes by – warp speeds
in first gear. Why can’t everyone else keep up?
Trivial lives:
they that cannot keep pace.

Ironic that the people person
prefers the non-people.
If you get it,
graze in shared field,
shadow in forest.

Motivated by joy.
Quicksilver emotions trigger
easily. Forgotten tempers evaporate.
All seeing yet blind to fault lines within.
Dream chaser. Gallops and leaps
over ditches of divisiveness.

A full measure of imagination fueled
by ingrained, unique perspectives.
Must express. Need to shrift, to scribe.
Emotionally sensitive, momentary shrivels
Inflate with selfless sincerity.

Viewed, perhaps, as gentled pony—
a mistake for a wild stallion resides within.
Indecisive, a smattering of paths
prove no obstacle for fate will decide.

Pressure cooker condenses, refines,
distils down to vital. Perfumed essence
invigorates, effuses. Diffuses the unnecessary.

Looks for where there is no path.
Creates own, meanders forward decisively.

Spirit freedom.
