In the Beginning

God,
the Unknowable Essence,
joined the letters B and E
into a single word
and intoned it
upon the silence of the void.

Be reverberated
through the emptiness,
it echoes flowing
across the dark parsecs and...
penetrated a black hole,
cracked the cosmic egg,
burst the primordial atom
to birth the cosmos.
