The Ring


No one will ever know
How much it means to me
I don't have to look
To know it's there

It's been there awhile
I never take it off
As I move through my day
While I sleep at night

I put it on long ago
When he came into my life
Stealing my heart away
When I saw his little eyes

But it also reminds me
Of a time years ago
You said I would wear it
On the hand that says love

I don't need to look
To know it's there
How much it means to me
No one will ever know
