This Time


She looks up at the moon
All alone in her room
She thinks about him
About the love she would feel

He looks up at the moon
All alone on the street
He thinks about her
About the love he would give

She closes her eyes
Wipes away a tear
Thinks maybe it's time
To give up on the dream

He closes his eyes
Gives up another tear
Feels that this time
He has lost the dream

She waited for him
He waited for her
Lord, please forgive them
Comfort their hearts tonight
