Just an examination of office behavior.
"Careful, we don't want to crash" Elana mumbled.

The crack in the wood where the drone waited seemed like the crevices of Everest. Beneath the screen, a red dot revealed the location of the machine and a set of inputs for slight horizontal and vertical course settings. Jake moved his index finger over the deer and a green box appeared around the target.

"Let's go slow." Elena gripped the back of the chair. "We cannot test these things forever."

"I know, several thousand dollars each."

Jake used the map to meticulously plot a course to the creature's back. He tapped a green button on the monitor and the delicate Mosquit-153 drone began to move silently towards it's prey. The sway of the grass signaled danger as the rpm meter for the drones rotors immediately hit their peak. The deer's ears perked up.

"You would think we were going to the moon."

Inch by inch, the animal began to fill the screen. Jake's fingers tapped in minute corrections with every gain. The hairs on it's back grew from thumb tacks to blades of grass to a forest.

"I am here to talk about the overreach of our parks program." a voice cut through the tension.

Elenea's wrinkles became more pronounced.

"We are dealing with chronic wasting disease. Think of all of the farms."

The target's skin twitched as the drone landed.

"We have contact." Jake smirked, half-expecting a reaction from Elena. "Extending the needle."

"Don't run."
