No Restrictions Magical Midnight Flight
I fabricated by my own hand,
a magical satin cape of midnight blue.
An iridescent inky deep cobalt hue.
For secretly flying at midnight, as I often do.
A nocturnal adventure of spying, exploring, escaping,
star scraping, floating, skimming, transparent sky swimming.
My cloak billows about me at my nebulous nightfall ascent,
emblazoned with edges that sparkle and shimmer,
mere mortals assuredly see not one tiny glimmer.
Soaring beyond deep dark murky night,
emerging to behold white luminous light.
Maneuver carefully I must,
within magnificently glistening feathery stardust.
Stealthily traversing the brightly dotted night sky,
in my Midnight Blue Cape, a million miles high, I rapidly fly.
Until tangled in a wispy web of glistening night stars,
rudely intruding upon my somnambulant quest.
I am summarily freed to fly on, for after all,
I am the stars curiously adventurous, midnight guest.
Quarter cut moons wispily woven are sprinkled and twinkle,
providing a collage of iridescent camouflage,
burnished and glowing,
Moonbeams manifesting on my silky raiment,
reflect the silver streams of shooting stars,
I am mystified to be in the aerial arena
of Mercurial Milky Way and Amazing Quasars.
I am soaring, a dizzy gauzy dragonfly,
spinning upwards to see how high
I may wander and wend my way radiantly aloft
in this nocturnally shimmering Shanghai.
A flash of rose splashing,
somberly I wing my way through the newly arriving azure sky,
covering the expanse in a very slow fly,
soon to relate to the fate of a July Firefly.
In the blink of an eye, I sail through the sea of goodbye,
on my way to the foggy forgotten milky land of me and my.
Softly dawning lavender light, a jagged zinc layered array,
fashions the looming horizon, unveiling a vibrant fragile new day.
My marvelous mission accomplished,
in this sublime crystalline Midnight Cobalt Blue Foray.
Tomorrow's midnight quest among the glimmering stars?
To land in my Inky Blue Cape on the Red Planet Mars.
