The
Boat rocks back and forth, as two men sit upon mounted chairs
watching their lines become lost
in
the deep blue.
"What
made you want to do this?" asks Billy, a middle aged golden skinned
Turkish male, with golden brown eyes, and full pink lips.
Bailey
turns looking at the handsome man with a smile on his face, "I have
terminal brain cancer, and doctors only give me about 3 months to
live."
"Oh
man, I'm sorry to hear that," Billy turns looking at Bailey.
"It's
not your fault," Bailey replies looking at the thin wire
slowly move.
"So
what else is on your bucket list?" asks Billy?
"Catch
a big ass fish in a net,
and kiss a compassionate guy," replies Bailey smiling, as he pulls
his flowing curly brown hair into a bushy ponytail.
In
that moment Bailey's line goes haywire. Billy grabs it, and reals
in the catch, "Grab the net and the hook."
Bailey
grabs the net, and the hook, and runs back to Billy's side. In the
distance, a huge tuna leaps through the wave. The closer he gets,
the more excited Bailey gets. Before he knows it, the fish was right
up against the boat. Billy walks up behind Bailey and takes his hand
in his hand.
"Now
you hook, and net, and I will help you pull it in," says Billy, as
Bailey hooks the fish, placing its head into the net, as the two pull
it in.
In
the boat, the fish smacks Bailey knocking him unconscious. Bailey
wakes in the hospital with Billy by his side, and a sore face.
"I
thought you were done man," he says, kissing Bailey passionately.
As the doctor walks into the room, Billy walks out.
"Mr.
Walker, you are fit as a fiddle."
