‘Ughh’ Exclaimed TJ ‘This is disgusting’
TJ threw down the present he picked up off the bench 10 minutes earlier.
‘That’s what you get when you go pickin up things you’ve never seen before ‘replied Sally
‘I was sure there’d be something I could sell ‘TJ muttered as he to the box outside and threw it in the garbage outside.

Meanwhile in another household
‘What’s that you have dear ?‘ Amy said to her 11 year old daughter Emily.
‘I found it on a table at the park. No one picked it up for 30 minutes so its finder’s keepers. Let’s open it up.’
Emily brought the present to the table where Amy and Emily opened it.
Ewwwwww’ called out Emily. How gross. Rotted food.’
‘Throw it away ‘Answered Amy.
Emily then takes the present out and throws it away.

Paul and Bettys (the gift deliverers) house
Pete the parrot picks away at some seed just fed to him.
‘I haven’t seen this kind of cash since I retired from the auto plant. ‘Paul finishing counting 5 thousand 2 hundred dollars.’3 days makes me more that a month where I answered phones’
‘Now its me that answers phones and its wearing me out.’ Replied Betty ’5 hours a day non stop. We need to hire someone for this. ‘Suddenly the phone rings.
‘Hello trash pickup.’
‘45 dollars.’
‘It just went up’
‘Would you rather pay the 70 the city charges?’
‘Ok then’ replied Betty ’Address?
‘Name’
‘Phone number’
‘Its cash only’
‘Tomorrow between 10am and 2pm we’ll have it picked up’
Betty hangs up the phone, Places the order on top of 35 preexisting pickups.
‘4 months of picking up garbage and we own the house outright. Not bad’
‘We can go to Europe like you’ve always wanted ‘replied Paul.
‘I can’t wait’ Betty cuddling up to Paul.
Pete the parrot starts with his favorite phrase ‘Don’t tell anyone. Don’t tell anyone.’

A warehouse at the police station

‘We’re going to need another room. We can’t fit any more presents in this room’ said one officer.
‘Evidence. We must keep them all.’ Replied the other officer.
‘The smell is intolerable’ Said the first officer.
Inside the office in the warehouse
‘’At this rate both warehouses will be filled up with these scam gifts . In just 4 months this one we have is at full capacity. The stench is overwhelming as well ‘said the Sargent
‘There’s been a few tips that a couple in a van is dropping off presents in odd locations but no license plate. I have someone talking to stores that sell the gift wrapping They’re using. We’ll see if something surfaces from it. ‘said an officer on the phone at another location at the other end. ‘All we can do is wait. ‘
‘Okay Bye’. The warehouse officer hangs up.


Back at Paul and betty’s house
Pete the parrot is walking back and forth on a branch outside the cage ‘Don’t tell anyone Don’t tell anyone’. Said Pete.
Betty put a bowl of nuts by the branch that Pete consumes.
‘Don’t worry Pete we won’t ‘said Paul.
