Lady Warrior

Lady Warrior

She stands with her sword pointed down,
her head bowed in thoughtful prayer.
The battle rages loudly all around her,
yet she stands in calm serenity.

Her shield is her faith in God,
her heart set deep in His Word.
She holds no fear for what may come,
for her armor protects her from the enemy.

As she lifts her head and says, “Amen,”
her sword rises up and she lunges forward.
Guided only by the spirit of her Father,
she sinks her weapon into the heart of her foe.

Once the battle is over and there is peace,
she bows her head again to thank her God.
She fought valiantly today without any fear,
and with the help of God, victory was hers.
