I was inspired to write something from this music video. |
Run Boy Run - 48 Hour Challenge The music video told the boy to run; it didn't matter what was behind him. Even though it was hard to understand the words, I thought they were telling him to run. I saw the monsters chase him. Being he was told to keep running, they couldn't touch him. It took tremendous courage for this little boy to conquer his fears. He held a sword and a shield in his hand to protect himself. He could fight off anything standing in his way. I love the music that went along with the video. The pounding of the drums and the beat of the music was great! I believe it encouraged the little boy to fight off his negativity. It gave him power and strength to keep running without giving up. This world is a scary place to be in when you're feeling alone, thinking that everyone is against you. Getting yourself out there on your own to face this kind of emptiness, I would call an act of bravery. Run Boy Run refused to quit running; he wanted to make it to the finish line. He's been walking for quite some time. He wanted to give up, but he kept running. Finding it difficult to find their way (not sure of where they're at or where they're going), he's certain of going on a mission, a journey to help those who are lost. Despite all the dangers, Run Boy Run wants to help save the world. Truly he believes he can accomplish this feat. He's confident in his ability to dream big. He has little faith, but, knowing if he had enough faith as little as a grain of mustard seed, he found that having faith without doubt was strong enough to conquer anything. Run Boy Run fears he's lost the battle, but he doesn't quit; he keeps on running, and the beat goes on. He's not sure where he's running to, but, in time, he will find his answer. The beat of the music makes me want to dance; it puts me in the groove to make the right moves. Thumpity thump, thump, thump, let's get up and do the bump. The music is great, don't show up late. Please don't hesitate, my friend, show me how to dance, and let's do it now. Knowing how far we'll go, we'll start a new trend by taking it slow. To do a retake, wouldn't be a mistake. The mind is filled with music compared to all the memories that we've shared; it's the most beautiful music anyone could ever imagine. Only an artist can paint a picture of these thoughts. Sunshine and laughter shouldn't depart from a young boy's heart. Happiness delights the soul; it makes you feel good inside and out. This is what it's all about. He doesn't have to run anymore, this little boy belongs in this world. Written by Anna Marie Carlson Thursday, August 8, 2019 . |
