Its a poem on depression(lola) and how enslaving it can be..
She stands by the window...
Nothing seems interesting outside
She can barely see the willows
No crickets to signify its night time
Maybe she is used to the darkness surrounding her

She's all alone in the house
Or so she thinks
Ever since the darkness encroached
She cant control her thirst for blood
Sometimes even her own seems inveigling

She remembers when the sun shone bright outside
Revealing the graceful river cutting through the farm
Birds chirping melodiously from tree to tree
Butterflies pollinating the bee balms in the garden
As the horses move around with flagged tails

Its all gone,
Or so she thinks
Lola burnt it all
Not even the sun was exempted
Nothing can stop her now
All that’s left is to give in into her demands
And until she gets the courage to fight off Lola
Nothing seems interesting…
