darkness creeping in
beating drums
and roaring fires
toast to the crazies
that walk and wonder
time that seems to stand still
and lesson to the chitter chatter
cold bones
acking tones
worries that wonder
and dogs that scatter
tear up tear down
winding bending turns
seek and savor don't
devour and conquer
ice heart torn and shattered
can it be repaired?
