Fores shorts - In Dragon eyes

Chapter 1: A Day that Changed everything.

A vast white landscape was forming beneath Railith eyes. She tried to remember any hill, any bush and each deformation on the land. Very
crucial things to notice.

Railith is a Dragon or rather a Dragoness. Coming to an age of 80 years (20 human years). As a quandrupled legged Dragoness she had an hourglass figure. With broad arms slim belly and wide rear. With a thin tail ended with a razor sharp tail resembling a sickle.. Another Female aspect of her body where her Antlers on her head. They were sticking out of her head and poking out of her snow white hair. Both of the Antlers were splingin in two On part growing to back of her head and the second and curling up downowrods covering her upper cheeks. Not too long of a muzzle shaped like a cat one with bright blue eyes. She is a very fine example of a mix of a Fire dragon and Ice dragon. Making Her scales in light blue color and a red underbelly. Color of Scales can indicate of what type of dragon is she. Not to mention her blue wings with red outlines.

Yet she wasnt focused on her body or the landscape (although she should be paying attention) her thoughts were running wild in her mind. So many things happened today. She needed to chronologicly set it how that day changed everything. It all started early in the morning she had one of the tests set by her teacher Floria an Emerald Dragoness.

All shades of green, black and bronze are a color of earth dragons. Floria is was one of them she as and adult was twice the size of Railith. Like all Dragoness she also had an hourglass figure with little definition on her muscles she was lean resembling more of an easter dragon. She had green eyes, antlers looked like deer ones or branches of a tree. decorated with red leafs. Had a brown underbelly witha tail with a balde shaped like a leaf.

Railith wanted to help her temple rangers (name of the group that keeps her home in balance tipping the good side) to serve as a tracker. A trakcer senses tracks, helps on hunting ground and memorise the shape of the landscpe for future missions or upcoming battles. Floria order her student to fly over an acitve Vulcano and Memorise the landscape with just 1 lap. Then she nedded to tell everything she saw. While she was half way though, she noticed 2 people near the vulcano, there were running away from the lava that was pouring form the vulcano. Suddenly they stopped.

What are they thining run humans unless you want to be burned to death - she though then she realised they cant, becouse the way was blocked by a thorned forest. They needed to go around it, but they could not make it. She decided for a bold move, forget her training and help them. She deided to use her ice breath to make sort of dam to stop the flow. She loweed her flight. Took a deep breath, felt how her organs prodeced fuel for her breath and she breathed next to the Lava. It didint work once the ground froze the Lava just went through it resumbling the dam into steam. She had to think fast, the Lava was approching. The pair of humans were trying to run next to the thorne forest to out run it. But they were only deleying the unevatible. Railith got another plan. She was not sure if it work, but she had to do it. She landed next to the humans. Railith was bigger then them she was towering them as big as a 2 floor building. If might dont work how about magic. She concetrated her Energy, then she imagined how ground beneth her create a hole all the loose Stones move forward to make a blokadę to give her time to dig. When it was deep enough she will make it long enough to circle on the opposite site of the forest giving the time for the humans to escape. When she visualize it, she spoke

Then beneath her paws a crack starting to show big rocks and bouilders started moving forward making a blockade and proceed on making the hole. When the hole was deep enought the earth started again to break apart moving boulder afther bouilder forward making the hole longer. Railith was feeling like her magic power was draining away. She wasnt schooled on leveling Earth magic. She knew the words and how to use the spell, but not on this scale. When the you cast a spell, which you didint master you can end up losing counsness memory or even youre life. Despite that she continued. She wont let anyone hurt, that was one of the temple rangers rules. When she was done she felt a little winded, the power drained all the magic power and the spell took part of her stamina to finish it. Then she stepped away form the hole and watched how it worked, it did. The Boulders worked like a dam and let her finish the spell, when the lava pushed it away melting them down it fell down the corridor and was going the opposite direction. She turned her head to humans they thank her by bowing their head and putting fisits next to their chest, She only bowed her head and immidietly took flight finishing her training. When she returned to her teacher she told her everyting. Floria eyes wided when she heard what she did, she only said:

„You went on youre own?! Ignoring orders? Grandmaster must hear that”

Railith was shocked. Why was she blamed. There were no more training, Floria and Railith came back to the temple hidden in the moutain or rather the whole moutain was the temple. Anyway Some time has passed. Then she heard the judging words from Floria.

„The Granmaster wishes to speak to you”

She gulped. Lowered her head like she was going on a death sentence, hearing roars of the Grandmaster of disobeying orders. She could not just fly away. Her counsious would no let her sleep that night if she had done that.
She knew who the Grandmaster Karth although she saw him several Times.

Grandmaster Karth is a Arctic ice Dragon. An Elementalis. Dragons who masterd all of water and ice magic becoming an qppearnce of Ice themselfs. He was a big muscular dragon with large horns on his back of his head croked to the side and upwards. 2 defying body charactarisaztion of Male Dragons. He had white scale all over his body with whiskers next to his nose. And a define feature is his covered in ice head and his whole back. As an Elementalis is a master of ice and is a part of that element it looked like a set of armour. Plus he had 3 scrtches near his right eye and part of the ‘Ice Helmet” broke that part.

She only saw when she was a hatchling, during assainment on who she wanted to be, and one time she heard loud roars behind his chambers like he was arguing or been mad on someone. Plus some Times when he walked passed by doing other duties.

When she got to his chambers near the entrence She saw another dragon. This time suggesting his scale color it was an earth dragon.
It was a male a quite big one he was 3 times Railith size with big muscles on his arms and legs with a little pudged stomach, sagging a bit but the abs were still visible. His horns were curled looking like on mountain goat.
The giant looked at Railith and spoke in a deep voice

Salve, youre Railith right?

She nodded

Grandmaster called us both so lets get going

She really didint want to, but at least she had to come with someone maybe it wont be so bad. With mixed feelings, she entered the chambers. It was the first time she had entered. It was an enormous chamber, with six columns each with a diffrent sculpter dragon that was known in history. Karth was facing backwards he quickly turned when he hear paw steps. Terros and Railith bowed their heads and Terros said

„Salve great Grandmaster Karth” - both said

Karth only sighted ans replied

Terros i already met you today once a day is enough and you dont have to title me every time.

Railith was still facing her muzzle near the ground.

Ummm – Karth started – you can rise youre head now Railith. Its hard to talk when you are facing the ground like that.

Railith didint want to but lifted her head and was waiting for the roar of scolds towards her

Why did you called us here? - asked Terros

Well for the first order of buisness, Railith - Karth shifted his deep blue eyes on the yound Dragoness

Y-yes? – she almost squeled

I heard about youre little stunt at the old council Vulcano, how you ignored the orders and helped out some humans from the lava…

Here it comes – though Railith when she heard that

Independednt nature is not something to be scolded about. We are a clan and sometimes we had to be a little selfish. Karth was a couple inches taller then Terros and had the same muscle build exept the gut. – That lead me to you. I Have aquired information that are very worring. Demons are preparing for a war they were getting a bit more daring attacking cities of other realms and the sudden show of a strange armored shallow creature. I have huntch that might be HIS doing

You know that both of them were close and i need his expertise. Besides i think his talents will be needed in the future, not to mention i miss him. So im sending both of you on a mission.

M- mission? – Said Railith sitting silent for a long while being pleased with her job well done.

Yes – ansered Karth – Youre way o thinking showed that you are more then ready to go on a first mission. Both of you have to seek out Tartarus and convince him to come back with his help. Even as a consulant. Remeber Railith although you showed that you can be independent, doesnt mean you can do whatever you want you still must listen to elders and espacially the commader, which will be Terros. As a tracker you will be on searching duty looking for Tartarus. Terros since you know the site's of „Frozen spiked back” you will lead and try convince him to our cause.


Railith could not belive it she was praised by the Grandmaster and got her first mission from him. Directly from him. This was trully a day…

She was drove away from her thoughts and stratled and noticed that a Snow storm kicked in during the flight. It was hard to mantain control of her flight. And to see anything. Terros was yelling.

- The Snow strom is too dangerous to fly in this condition we need to land and proceed on solid ground. Remember to slowly decent, reduce flap youre wings to minimum.


She nodded and slowly and steady lowering herself on the ground. Near the ground the wind wasnt that strong, but visibility still wasnt good. Hope her talent and a independed mind will help her during her first mission, even in this conditions.
