Looking in the Mirror

Who, what and why we were born and created is the question we all ask at times?
why am I this way? All my life I had been looking for something, and everywhere I turned someone tried to tell me what it was. I accepted their answers too, though they were often in contradiction and even self-contradictory. I was naïve. I was looking for myself and asking everyone except myself questions which I, and only I, could answer that I am nobody but myself.
We as humans often too many times tried to please other people rather than pleasing the one who is more important than our selves God.
God has given us one face, and we make yourself another.
If God had wanted us otherwise, He would have created us otherwise. Yet still we tend to give in to what people want from us cause we are faced with peer pressure and the world around us but I learn it takes courage to grow up and become who you really are and placing all your Faith and Trust in the Lord.
I looked at the mirror and found that God has truly created me in his likeness, and I am special and unique. After seeing this I began to see myself as a soul with a body rather than a body with a soul. I learn to never judge another cause when we judge another, we do not define them, we define ourselves.
So am saying to you take the chance and look in the mirror see who you really are, that special person God has created and focus on that and not what people see in you...........
