something that could be interesting 2

Chapter 1

Our gracious lord

wandering through the town it was a particularly beautiful day, the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, right until he noticed a huge gathering of people around a small convoy escorting a carted cage across the town square.

in the cage slumped against the bars was a female with white hair and purple skin, he noticed some quite severe wounds on her back and which looked quite unpleasant, he was however most perturbed by the design of cage, such cages are designed in such a way that it's meant to cause the most discomfort to it's captive, it's not high enough to stand in nor wide enough to sit in, this view unsettled him, and caused his face to cringe. as the crowd cheered and tossed vegetables among other things, he took an unconscious step towards the cage and his eyes drifted towards a sword resting on an anvil and a guard with keys on his belt.

Before he realized his action an egg cracked it's self on the back of his head, he tuned his head slowly only to see a child hiding cowering behind his mother with a guilty look in his eye, the child's mother made a move towards him to apologize but held his hand over his shoulder to signal that he was alright, the mother shot him an awkward chuckle and dragged her child away by his ears.

After he fished the last eggshell out of his ear the convoy had moved on ,he arrived bazar and approached a store with a tall sign saying, "Marek's herbal remedies", he placed a single jar containing white petals upon the counter and waited patiently. "What have you brought me today boy?" bellowed the store owner in a crude tone. "why don't you take a look yourself Marek." He said, the shopkeeper examined the jar then placed it on his shelf" I don't know what it is but you sure have an eye for quality" then the shopkeeper produced 20 pieces of copper, he reached out to gather them but a single copper coin had a slight purple smudge, "how convenient" he thought as he gathered the pieces.

After buying a bag of bread he passed by the butcher's shop, the day was coming to an end and the shop was closing up, an unnatural force motivated him to approach the store, when he reached it he gestured at a hanging bag of meats.

"haven't seen you around here pal." Said the butcher as he retrieved the bag. "expecting guests?"

He felt a jerk in his stomach as the butcher said that. "not really, just thought I'd try something new. He replied.

the sun was setting over the horizon, "what a beautiful sight for sore eyes", but for a moment the skies turned into a purple which he rolled his eyes at, "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME" he yelled at the sky shaking his hands violently, at that moment a purple butterfly landed no his nose, "NYAAAAH" he screamed as he waved his hands in the air to fend off the vicious butterfly.

He arrived at a remote cottage with glass windows and a thatch roof, he entered the cottage and laid sideways on the couch, he let out a satisfying "ahhhh" as he stretched himself across the length of the couch. He reached into his bag for a piece of bread, despite being out for a whole day the bread was still fresh and warm, he brought the bread towards his mouth and stopped midway, he sighed and tossed the bread back into the bag, he missed the bag by an inch it fell on the ground rolling several times completely covering itself in dust. He took a deep breath and began frantically laughing.

Once the laughing stopped, he said to himself "I pity the man who is my neighbor" despite there not being a single person or home in sight. He laid on his bed and closed his eyes, but he did not drift off, instead the more he tried to rest the more energy he felt. he tossed and turned, "the helpless face of the elf burned in his mind, until he finally snapped.

He snuck in to town in the in the dead of night wearing a dark cloak hoping it would hide him from prying eyes, not a single soul could be spotted or heard from and the street was without any luminescent, " What a beautiful night to commit a crime punishable by death" he thought he approached the prison and watched as the guards carrying torches disappeared into a distance and drew near to the prison gate.

He quickly noticed that the usual two guards who were posted there were not present, a stroke of luck for once perhaps, he did not give it much thought and he casually strolled in the front gate. "well that was easy" he thought.
