Form focused on words, adjectives, and nouns.
The Patina is a form invented by Pat Nelson here at Writing.Com with the focus on words, adjectives and nouns, rather than meter and rhyme. The structure consists of any number of three-lined stanzas comprised as follows:

Line 1 has an adjective and a noun.
Line 2 has two adjectives and a noun, with all three words being alliterative (having the same initial sound).
Line 3 contains four words which explain the meaning of the image or theme

Twinkling eyes,
Loveable, lambent, laugh.
Holding my baby girl.

Tiny fingers,
Clawing, curious, clutch,
Pulling my beard hair.

Sour face,
Ominous, obnoxious, odor,
Baby filled her diaper.

Tired mommy,
Distraught, desperate, daddy,
This will be messy.
