Angels of Stone

Angels sit like stone
Looks of being left alone
Birds and other animals use them to perch
The best place to do their search
Some reason abandoned to be Earthly bound
Spending eternity riveted to the ground
Accompanying the fallen leaves of the season
Still here and still no reason
Faces pointing down
Keeping the demons underground
Snakes maneuver within the fallen leaves
Satin is still trying to deceive
