A Gathering of Minds: Truth or Dare

A modernized game so easy with fright;
A raging of protests, too gruesome with might.
The least dreadful ownership properly gained,
A story-time nation of battles refrained. 

A gathering of minds revoking this dare,
A thoughtfulness carried, surprisingly rare,
Generates power with societal backing,
A politics staged through truth that is lacking!

Storied, dark riots, the violence jars,
Trusting that willingness, openness stars.
Drowning in license, beholden to waste,
Voicing the villain of all that is chased.

A mind-numbing era so truly distorted;
A trust for design that seems falsely aborted. 
Gathered we are by the hearts truly saddened;
Energy so real that we’re all fiercely maddened.
