Days continue to come,
And slide quickly into time,
As leaves that quietly change
With each changing clime.

Is our vision centered
On days that have died?
To our past actions
Are we hinderingly tied?

With each rising of the sun,
A new day us awaits,
And to our span of time,
We can add fascinating dates.
