Bats in My Rafters
There isn't much that scares me
as Halloween comes to call
I look forward to a good haunting
as summer nights lead to fall
Visiting an empty shack is thrilling
Bats in the rafters, all to the good I shivered as I noticed a lighted candle
in the old abandoned house in the woods.
Thrilled to a ghostly presence,
I looked forward to the banshee's cry
better I say to celebrate the darkness
a good shriek or two in the night exposes all the lies
So gather your vampire charmers
Your undead to kiss my hand
I'll marry the Bride of Frankenstein
Restraints replacing wedding bands
