A young boy's commonly described as sexual quirk is put to test in the fields of U.A! |
Ah... the joys of winter break. The snow glittering the streets outside, no worries at all. I sit out on my front porch, enjoying the nice, cold breeze of late December. Nothing could break such a peaceful expierience... Days could go by... Oh what a wonderful feeling this was. However, the clang signifies to me that i've got mail, a duty always required for me to do. Ugh... and I thought that moment would last. Scrounging through the endless letters jammed into the small navy blue mailbox, I find a red-stamped envelope with the letters U.A. etched in the front in gold. Hmm... what would the topmost hero school in the whole country want with us? Oh... it was probably for my sister. My gleaming, outshining, hero-bound sister. Everything was Perfect with Hijima. Her looks, her quirk, and her smarts. She was respected in our old city, always looking like top-hero material. Her quirk, Moleculear Makeup, made it so that she could change the chemical compisition of any non-living material she touched. Quite the overpowered quirk if you ask me. Much better than mine. I had the somewhat sexual ability to grow any part of a human being, however, it grew their overall hieght as well, and was known to create some sort of "sexual energy" in the target. It only worked on females, sadly, so i never used my quirk since i was 7 and accidentally made my teacher 6' 3". I've often been bullied for my quirk, often called the GTS hero, if i ever become one. I only had one freind, with a similar, somewhat villianous quirk. After she tried confessing to her crush, she was never seen again, presumably kicked out by her parents. Anyway, back to the mail. I ran down the hallway to my sister's room, decked out in streamers and rainbow lights. "what do you want?! Don't you see i'm doing something?!" She said, obviously very, very annoyed. "Well, we got a letter in the mail..." "listen, i don't want to hear anything from you. Remember, it's your month to wash dishes tonight. I already served my week. Now shoo." "But it's from U.A! i think you got accepted!" I say, looking at the sparkle duplicate in her orange eyes. "Really?! No way!" She rips the envelope away from me, tearing it open like a hyena. I could almost see the color drain from her face, and the sparkle dwindle out of her eye. something was wrong, very wrong. "what is it?" I ask, trying to help the situation. "I- I- Th-" she stutters, tears beginning to brim on the tips of her big, round eyes. "they, t-they said that i needed to help in the support course, and m-my quirk would be best f-for it..." she trailed off, knowing her dreams of becoming a hero and been squashed. Left to build things for other heroes, She would become a mechanic, the job she hated most. It was the same job my father had before he died in a work-related accident that still wasn't publicized two summers ago. She threw the letter down on her desk, spinning around in her bright pink chair. Typing furiosly, She declined the offer to join the support course, expressing her intrest to join the hero tract. She then yelled for me to get out or she'd turn my clothes to concrete, i happily abliged and sprinted back to my darelicked room. What was gonna happen now? we'd lost both parents and niether of us were gonna be heroes. Leave to persue low-paying jobs at an office building? Seems like it. What if I applied? what would happen then? There was probably a 99% a wasn't gonna get accepted, but i might as well try. I sent in my application, desperate for real this time. 3 days later I wake to my blaring alarm. Still exhausted from the hours of stressing i did last night, i stumbled down to make myself some All might cereal. Time to check the mail, once again. Comes early every Thursday, so i'm up bright and early. Another, red-stamped letter is in the mail. I grab it, eager to see what's inside. after about 3 paragraphs official-sounding mumbo-jumbo, it said: "We would love to have this student, Hamuji Gigani, at our school, as a student in the hero course." I could barely contain my excitement, rushing to hide the letter so Hijima wouldn't go off on me for eternity. I hid the letter in a safe place, and packed my things for U.A. this was definitely gonna be a turning point in my otherwise depressing life. 1 month later, in front of U.A Oh, I can't believe this is happening! a hero? me? they seemed like they were antonyms for the longest time! And now, here i am, walking down the halls to my new future, my new beginning! I walk, a bounce to my step, into the doors of class 1-A. Now, that may seem like poor phrasing, you walked into the doors? that doesn't seem right, does it? But no, in my excitement, i forgot doors needed to open, sending me hurling down to the floor. I hear the doors creak open, and a girl pops her head out from behind the door to see what's wrong. This girl, i tell you, was the most beautiful girl i'd ever seen. Black hair, tied into a spiky form that jutted to the left side of her head. I looked away, not wanting to make a fool of myself on my first day. She came over, expressing concern on my condition. "Are you okay? It looked like you hit that door pretty hard." "y-yeah, i'm okay. Just a little banged up, that's all. heh..." i smile, trying to eliminate any awkwardness. "what's your name?" "Hamuji Gigani" I say, my arm throbbing along with my chest. "well, my name's Momo Yaoyorozu, but you can call me Yao-momo." Yaoyorozu said, her onyx eyes gleaming. "Well then, Yao-momo, thank you for your concern. Why don't we head to class?" I say, after glancing at the clock. She nods, and reaches out her hand to help me up. I take it, and the two of us walk into our first day at U.A high school, wondering what our futures have for us. End of part 1. Thanks for Reading! |
