A poem about babies who lose their life while still in the womb |
A mother grieves the miscarriage of her pregnancy. She was less than 12 weeks along with the child. She had wanted this baby so very desperately. The pain that she feels is not very mild. Another woman weeps because of two lines. She now knows she is a mother-to-be. The light beaming down on her secret shines. She had been seeing a married man so secretly. She weighs the consequences of giving birth. She is nowhere ready for this life within. Why make another life suffer upon this earth? She gets an abortion before this life can begin. Yet, God saw his people aborted in their blood. He had compassion as he walked by and said, “live”. His love covered them like a mighty flood. He gave them everything he could possibly give. When mother and father forsake you, he will take you up. He cares for those little ones who from this earth depart. He loves you, cares for you, and lets you drink from his cup. He adopts you as his own and sets you apart. He also sees the loving mother experiencing her deep loss. He will wrap his arms around her so passionately. He knows her pain of losing that child to the dross. He will comfort and keep her very compassionately. Notes ▼ |
