Flotsam and Jetsam

I really don’t like being bald
so I just wear a hat.
And growing older is a pain
but I can live with that.

There are so many things in life
you’re never gonna change.
So many things you’d like to fix
or maybe rearrange.

But there are just too many things
beyond your own control.
You simply have to play along
or readjust your goal.

So when I’m feeling too stressed out
or getting too upset,
I simply will remind myself
I haven’t finished yet.

I’ll take care of the things I can
and disregard the rest.
And let the world go spinning past.
I find that is the best.
