I would enjoy feedback about my first lil story. The meaning behind this should be clear. |
The warm summer breeze surrounds his head as he joyously strolls through the playground, the ever-scorching heat producing sweat pearls inmidst of his face as the next game of Tag begins to unfold. The parents seem satisfied about the current situation and smilingly sit on a bench, waving at the little toddler and his little friend. But the oh so glorious day is about to take a dark turn as the weather report of the local newspaper has predicted a massive hail and thunderstorm, expected at about 4pm EST. But the desire of the storm appears to be unbearable and begins it`s devastating rage sooner then calculated. The twisted nature phenomenon strikes in the middle of a conversation between the parents and they soon notice that their son is nowhere to be seen whilst the unrelentless hail pounds upon them. They figure that the child must have been trying to get closer to the eye of the storm, as he was always intrigued about the Earth`s weather and the location of the eye was said to be not too far away. Because of the walking distance from the playground to the apartment the parents decide to return home and figure that Bradly will soon return home, closing their eyes on the situation that is happening right in front of them. A couple hours pass and Bradly eventually comes home, clothes soaked and running nose. The parents are relieved to have their song back at home, bombarding him with questions about where he was and why he ran off.He explains that the aura of the storm magically put him in a trance, luring him with sweet scents of freedom and happiness. He blankly says that the hail pieces hurt so much at first but he got used to it after some time, never complaining after that. The parents are shocked but are so overflown with relief that they brush the strange phrasing off. But the storm will return, greater then ever and the shadow of the first storms will soon catch up to the parents |
