Old Norse verse-form, from several years ago.
By the blood black wings of Muninn,
Blinded by him, for years I bled,
fear of the far-flying warbird,
fed a fervent, more fevered fear

Only by broth of Bragi's corpse,
could I brave the raven's hard blows,
Claimed by Huginn, cousin of curse,
I caught the colour of cold thought,

Gold of the god of the gallows,
Guided me back on a gilt path,
Sly work of the father of slain,
slipped me from sick sightless slumber.
