Me brainstorming how to tackle the second part of 'Contests or Challenges- HttyD Style!'
The Goal:
Gather all of Silent Sven's Scattered Sheep, and learn how to manage large groups of uncooperative animals. (Could work rather handily against some Vikings) Each teen is trying to gather more sheep than the others. There are a lot of sheep (40? 60? 90? 100? 160?)

The Rules:
Each time you bring a group of Sheep back, Sven will tally how many you brought. If you bring back fewer than the time before, they will not go towards your final score.

The Opening Scene and Dialogue:
"Oh it's so on!" Snotlout

shouts. "Wait! It happened again! And why am I still shouting?!" The others looked at him strangely again for a few moments, and then realize that Hiccup and Toothless aren't there!

The twins cackled to each other a moment, thinking again that Hiccup might be converting to their side. Then they flew off, leaving Snotlout and Fishlegs spluttering at Hiccup's apparent audacity. Astrid just shook her head and smiled a moment before leaving herself. Fishlegs, realizing that everyone was leaving, got Meatlug to start flying off while he lost the world in a mess of numbers and strategies. Snotlout finally got his head around the fact that yes, it would appear that Hiccup got a head start by leaving while they were still talking, and yes, that did mean that his cowardly fishbone of a cousin had grown a spine, and some nerve to go with it. The order of the world had changed, it is true (It hadn't, he was just catching up to it... again), but he understood, and he was still better, so it was okay.

"Alright, Hiccup, you're so on," Snotlout started his monologue to the others, before realizing that he was the only one still there. "Oh come on! Again? Fine! Hookfang, let's go win this thing!"

The Strategies:

The Twins:
Go off together, gather a group of sheep, then come back and get tallied individually, then combine their scores at the end. When they get to too many sheep to be manageable, bring back no sheep to reset the score.

The Snot:
Paint a couple sheep black to try and get extra points. Ambush Fishlegs and steel his sheep right before he gets to the pasture. Spy on the twins and use their strategies, but not as competently.

The Fish:
Gather sheep into a pen outside the pasture, then tie harnesses and bring them back in groups. Prepare defenses to avoid being thwarted by Snotlout. Maybe get help from some vikings or dragons?

The Beauty:
Be the Fastest, use spine shots to herd sheep on the ground, mess with Snotlout for fun.

The Leader:
Gather a flock of various wild dragons to help keep an eye on the sheep. Push himself harder than the others. Maybe help Fishlegs?

The Results:

The Twins:
The twins fly off, but only Ruffnut returns, Barf&Belch carrying two sheep
Shortly thereafter, Tuffnut flies back with two sheep.
         Then Ruffnut with three sheep,
And Tuffnut with the same...
Ruffnut takes a little longer bringing back four sheep
Tuffnut only manages three
Ruffnut returns with only a single sheep
Tuffnut finally comes back with four sheep, and flies back with Ruffnut at the sound of the horn.
Total: 22 sheep
Score: 18

The Snot:
Snotlout flies off, bragging that he'll bring back seven sheep, but sneaks back with a mere three sheep, knowing that he wouldn't be able to keep up if he started so high.
Snotlout almost makes it back to the pasture with three sheep, but Astrid flies under Hookfang and grabs two of them out of his claws, leaving Snotlout holding one
Snotlout, angry at Astrid, heads out, and comes back with four sheep: one in each of Hookfang's claws, and one in each of his arms.
Feeling rather good about himself again, Snotlout comes back with five, although the one on Hookfangs back is unconscious.
Having found no sheep, Snotlout circles back to see if the game is over, and stumbles across Fishlegs herding a group of sheep. Snotlout tries to nab them, but most of them run off, leaving him with three.
Snotlout runs off to tr and catch some of the others, but only manages to grab one, and Sven counts it as an extra lap.
Determined to prove himself, Snotlout sets out once more, and comes back with six sheep, herding them in front of Hookfang and himself on the ground.
Total: 23 sheep
Score: 18

The Fish:
Fishlegs goes off on Meatlug, but he doesn't come back for a while. First, he finds eighteen sheep, in small groups at a time, and brings them to the cove. Hiccup isn't there, but he apologizes anyway.
Then, he goes to town and gets some rope. He gathers four of the sheep, and takes them to Sven's pasture before heading back to grab another six of them.
Fishlegs is nearly to the pasture when Snotlout flies at him. The sheep scatter, and Snotlout grabs three of them before flying off. Fishlegs manages to grab the other three, and has Meatlug guard them while he grabs two he had seen on the way.
Then he goes back and uses the rope to tie six of the remaining eight sheep together, and takes them. He had intended to do that earlier, but the sheep were behaving, so he didn't think he needed it.
Before heading back for the last two sheep, Fishlegs gathers five more. Then he ties them all together and heads back. Along the way, Hiccup runs into him with his flock of dragons and helps bring them back faster. The points still go to Fishlegs, though.
Total: 22 sheep
Score: 22

The Beauty:
Astrid and Stormfly speed off, and are the first to return, Stormfly carrying two sheep in her claws, and one on her back
They return with three sheep again, because Astrid forgot that she needs more than the last time.
This time, Stormfly carries two sheep, while Astrid runs on the ground herding two more sheep. They stole those two from Snotlout when he was almost to the pasture.
Five sheep! Stormfly carries three again, and they use spine shots to herd the two sheep on the ground.
Stormfly again carries three sheep. They find another three, and herd them with spine shots. When they find a seventh, Astrid gets down to herd the sheep herself.
Same as last time, but Astrid gets a couple terrors to help her herd, because she finds two more sheep.
Total: 33 sheep
Score: 30

The Leader:
Hiccup is the first to disappear, while the others are still talking, in fact. He returns shortly, Toothless carrying one sheep in each of his front paws, one between his hindlegs, and two behind Hiccup.
When they come back again, there is a monstrous nightmare carrying two sheep and a pair of nadders each carrying one sheep accompanying them.
Next lap, Toothless is only carrying one sheep between his front paws and one on his back, but they are joined by a zippleback carrying three sheep.
On their fourth lap, Hiccup and Toothless recruit a timberjack, who carries one sheep. Otherwise, they carry all the same sheep with all the same friends as last time.
One more lap, Toothless carries four sheep, two gronkles each carrying one sheep join up, the timberjack manages to carry two sheep, and finally, Torch joins, carrying two sheep!

Total: 50 sheep
Score: 41

The Cutscenes:

The twins dropping each other off and running through the forest
Astrid stealing from Snotlout
Fishlegs in the Cove
Snotlout stealing from Fishlegs
Hiccup flying around watching everyone while he wins, because he's just that good

The Notes:

Did I Forget Anything??
I guess we'll see...
