New Moon

In the new moon's pale light I see,
A new beginning form,
The shape of creativity,
A room for change is born,
Silver shines down with message clear,
Sliver of hope says change is near,
Silver shines down,

Shining to say there's naught to fear.

In the new moon's pale light I see,
Finality of past,
Experiences elude me,
What was, it can not last,
My eye can see more dark than light,
The message is from darkest night,
My eye can see,
My eye can see,
All I can't save now gives me fright.

In the new moon's pale light I see,
A promise of new life,
A perishable destiny,
Eternal and finite,
The cycle starts, the cycle ends,
New beginnings around each bend,
The cycle starts,
The cycle starts,
New chances to each fault amend.
