I want to let things go their way; I’m letting the world work its magic, to see how fate manages things. And perhaps, life will offer itself to me, in the most astonishing way; it will run in ecstasy at my feet. The ocean smiles only to those willing to drown, and perhaps, in some unclear way, drowning is a sort of rebirth, just like destruction can be a form of creation. So here I stay, an empty glass of Jin in my hand, on this silent night where the only thing I can hear are these thousands of needles piercing this leaden sky. I contemplate this dark and grey dancing harmoniously along with the shiny city lights, and it’s here, when the world falls into silence that I find this bit of peace I’ve been looking for all day.
