reading/watching YouTube is good for you...unless you need information...LOL |
Oh good grief! I am looking to improve my life and health. So, I thought I would look on YouTube for some healthy ideas in the area of diet. I am a diabetic, and want to protect my kidneys, as well as lose weight. So I type in the information wanted in the search engine, and away I go... Lots of people, with lots to say. Oatmeal? good...no bad! Depending on who you listen to. Bananas? No Avocados are better! Nuts? good...no bad for oxalates. Fruit? Yes! No! And on and on it goes... After about an hour of listening, I push the heels of my palms into my eyes and groan out loud. The kids look at me as though I have lost my mind. And I think I left it somewhere in YouTube Land. LOL Everybody has an opinion or an idea. I think perhaps Rabbit Food is the best option for me...no not the pellets, but lettuces and veggies (and a limited amount of salad dressing...LOL) My A1c is good, and I am trying to avoid the obvious junk food and water is my new best friend (groan). So I will just do the best I can, and you can be sure I won't be adding my two cents on YouTube. |
