Tremendous souls who served as deterrence, now gravely weakened - a poem. |
Letting the enemy fight that detection; Far off they went, to offer protection - The ones they now vanquish, soon to be goner, Primary battlers - serving with honor… The promise of government, makes a decision, Posits leadership’s widening vision. Impossible ignorance costing true lives, Feathered toward angels, sanctity thrives. Complicity noted, this administration - Jarred by ruin, America’s castration… That chaos, suffering, immeasurable cost. Purpose was measured, connection now lost… Tragically slain, dismembered, such deference! Thousands of troops who’ve conferred a deterrence. The deepening sadness, the relevance of war, Concerning construction, purveyors, pride’s door! Forces committed - so brave and so beautiful - Sterling, their courage displayed was so dutiful; Armed and defiant, the nation in check - Holding those enemies down by the neck… Such is the balance, sole meaning in life; Displaying those duties, enveloped by strife. Striving for poise - that peace - in that visage. Looking at health, kind thoughts for that message. |
