The Fallen Rose Part 2.1: Grillby's

In the previous part, Rose fell into the Underground and met a demonic flower, her brother's ghost and two other humans before leaving the Ruins.

"we should get back to snowdin before rose catches a cold." Sans suggested, walking towards Rose and I. "Okay, see ya at Grillby's." Shift replied before disappearing in a red flash. "Did she just teleport or what?" Rose asked me. "Probably or just turned invisible." I said, shrugging and then asked the skeleton, "You're her friend, so is Shift able to do at least one of those things?" Sans nodded before answering, "yes, shift can teleport. but both of us call it 'taking a shortcut'." Right after saying this, he put his left hand on my sister's right shoulder and all three of us disappeared in a light blue flash (actually since my soul was attached to Rose's, I teleported with them). "Ugh, you could've warned me that you were going to do that." groaned the brunette, looking like she was going to vomit. "oh, sorry. i didn't think about that happening." Sans said, "anyways welcome to snowdin." We landed next to a large sign that said 'Welcome to Snowdin Town', to the left of the sign was Snowdin Forest and to the right was a small town that near the middle had a building with a sign on the front that said Grillby's. "I'm guessing that's where we're heading to?" I said rhetorically. To confirm what I was guessing, Shift walked out of the door of the building waving to us (like we didn't know which building was Grillby's).
"Over here!" called Shift to us. We ran (I did the motion like I was running alongside side my sister, but I was just floating beside her), we headed towards Snowdin's restaurant and the red-eyed woman. When's we reached her, she said after letting Rose catch her breath, "Welcome to Snowdin and Grillby's." She then turns to Sans, "Carrot, Cocoa and their Frisk are at the counter arguing about what is better honey or chocolate...again." "what am i supposed to do about that?" Sans asked, then said "oh, you're warning me that there might be flying objects that aren't supposed to "fly?" "Exactly." Chara said, before opening the door. Both humans felt a blast of pleasantly warm air escape through the open door of the bar. All four of us walked into the establishment and saw at least half a dozen monsters either sitting at tables or at the bar which was managed by a humanoid creature with a orange-red flame as a head. Not all of the customers (or patrons) were monster, there were two humans that looked about the same age as Frisk and the two Charas Rose and I've met so far. The second after Sans walked into Grillby's, everyone except for the two humans and the figure between them in a orange hoodie (they were too busy arguing) greeted the skeleton in the blue jacket. "hey, carrot! frisk! you two aren't going to start throwing things, are you?" Sans yelled over to the two arguing people. They kind of jumped a little and yelled over their shoulders, "No, we weren't, or at least I wasn't." the human said in a female voice. "CLASSIC, I DIDN'T HEAR YOU COME IN." said the figure in the orange hoodie (he wasn't yelling, I'm unable to change fonts on this website. So let's say this is the font papyrus, and one of the two fonts all Papyruses use ((the other font can only be used by skeletons, which is one of the most confusing fonts in existence: wing dings)). That's just how all of them sound/talk). The two arguing seemed to silently agreee to continue their argument later. They turned around on the stools they were sitting on, while the third stayed facing away from the door. They held up a finger, like to say 'give me a moment to finish this'. After a few seconds, a slightly pudgy woman that looks about the same age as Frisk (the one that was sitting next to Carrot) and looked similar to Chara and Shift. "Hello, my name is Chara, but just call me Cocoa." Shift then explained the reason for the nicknames, "Some Charas, Frisks, Sans and other monsters look identical, so we need a way to know which is from which AU. For example, the original Frisk looks the same as my Frisk, Shifty. I mean if their eyes are closed." Sans chuckled and said, "most charas are chocoholics, but cocoa doesn't like chocolate. even though cocoa powder is a ingredient that is used to make chocolate."
