44 Lines How do we handle the despair we're in? Too much has happened in our world again. Many people want to shout, What is this all about? Danger seems to be existing everywhere, What do we do? Does this seem right? To bear up arms to begin the fight. What has happened? I want to know. Walking on eggshells is a fright, We know not where we'll be tonight. Will our kids be safe from harm? We're afraid of losing our dignity; Our country has gone mad; Why can't we get along and be glad? Bombs are dropping from the sky, I need to ask the question, "Why?" It's hard to be able to trust our neighbors, When disagreements happen, we may be shot. How can we bring our country together, With storms blasting out bad weather? Is there a solution to this problem? I know that God can be a resolution. Hang on to hope, forget the dope, We must all begin to cope. When we're down in the mire, We must fulfill our one desire. When we're drained from the heat, Pray for rain; this will be sweet. Pray that our weather will subside, Let it not divide our family and friends, Get rid of the violence is what we need, Then peace will be restored; There'll be less greed. Raise your hand, reach out to someone; Let them know that you still care. Show them a smile; it will be worthwhile. We'll encourage you, somehow, some way, Let it begin on this day. Think of the animals that you love; Remember them with all your heart. Let's begin with a grin, It will be nice, I'll assure you, When we believe in His Word; The Bible will stand upon our land.
