BSF Children’s Lesson Four

Scripture: John 3:1-21

Scripture verse: John 3:16 “God loves people, so God sent Jesus.”

God’s Attribute: Love. (God loves everyone).

Main Truth: Jesus came so people can be part of God’s family.

Story: “Our hands we fold, our heads we bow, so we can talk to God right now. Thank You God for loving people and sending Jesus to help people. Amen.” Use ASL for amen. Hold up Bible. This is the Bible. Can you say Bible?The Bible is God’s true Word. Sing The B. I. B. L. E. The Bible tells us about God and Jesus.”

A man named Nicodemus had a lot of questions. Tilt head, tap temple.

Draw faces on thumbs for Jesus and Nicodemus. Slide Nicodemus thumb to Jesus. Nicodemus went to see Jesus.

Nicodemus asked Jesus the questions.

Jesus and Nicodemus talked about God. Lean forward, whisper.

Emphasize “all.” Jesus answered all of Nicodemus’ questions.

Smile.Nicodemus learned to be in God’s family. Hold up two fingers, act excited Now Nicodemus had two families! Wow!

Stretch out arms on “so much.” God Is Jesus’ dad. God loves people so much He sent His son Jesus.

Main Truth:Jesus came so people can be part of God’s family.

Bible Verse: “God loves us, so God sent Jesus.” 2x, “John three, verse 16, God loves us, so he sent Jesus.” To God Is So Good.

Music: Pass out instruments.

Intro song one: God loves us. He likes to do good things for us. Shake bells.

Song one: God Is So Good. Include “God sent us Jesus,” “God gives us families,” and “Glory, Hallelujah.”

Intro song two: God sent us Jesus. People need to thank God for all the things He does. Shake bells again.

Song two: We Thank You Loving Father.

Intro song three: Because God loves people, we Praise Him.

Song three: Praise Him, Praise Him. All three verses.

Quiet time: Turn off light. Blanket and Jesus Loves Me. He’s Got the Whole World in His hands, sing “all the families.”

Large muscle: Throw balls.
