Pie

Salty bottom, filling sweet,
Yet no fun to have to eat,
For there's a clash between the two,
And, for all pies, remains this true,
Even those of great repute;
What a waste of lovely fruit!
Still, though, people raise on high
That dreadful dish that's called the pie.
