Heroic In Death/Working Title -

Premise: a young rookie saves a couple of kids. She gets interviewed and asked about her own heroes. She names some that she looks up to.

Not long after article is published, the first person named on the list is killed. Bad luck?

Another person named on list is also found dead. Things get creepy.

The rookie freaks out, as her boss is one of the heroes named, and she goes to her boss.

Who is killing this person's heroes? Can they save the rest?

If going with fan fiction, I'd like the boss to be either Eve Dallas from the In Death Series by JD Robb. Or, I'd like it to be Hank Voight from Chicago PD...lots of "grit" in that series.

Is it the reporter? What's his/her story?

Who else might the killer be? Plot Twists?

I'm writing this down so I don't forget.
